My lifelong affection for animals led me to create Joan4Pets in 2000. I offer pet sitting and individualized training with professional experience and loving care.

My eleven years as Coordinator of San Francisco SPCA’s Adoption Outreach Program allowed me to work with countless breeds and pet personalities.

As a graduate of the San Francisco Academy for Dog Trainers, “The Harvard of Animal Schools” – Jean Donaldson’s renowned program presented by the SFSPCA– I focus on aversion-free basic obedience training, socialization and special issues such as separation anxiety.

As a committed professional, I am dedicated to continuing education, attending courses and seminars from industry leaders, and keep current with emerging methods in the world of dog training and care.
